Training

23rd May 2009 (Saturday), I joined coach Tony and friends for the first time training at Putrajaya. It was a nice training good condition track and beautiful view a long the roads forget about the hot weather. We train running 12km , I have learned something new from Coach Tony , he told me that during running on hill I should swing my both hand faster and higher it helps my legs to move faster and I did try and it really work out ! The faster I swing my hands my legs followed and my pace become faster. Then when running down the hill I musn't swing my hands fast just slow down, body move forward a bit, and inhale using nose exhale out from the mouth it goes smoothly. Besides that, the running shoe play an important role in running too not only the right techniques of running but never forget your sole mate. Coach Tony taught me few techniques from basic to speedwork wow! We talked while running the talk make me forget about my tired leg. It is just a beginning, there are a lot of training needed to be a good runner. I'm in the progress of becoming a good runner, it takes time but I believe training made perfect I need full concentration during training and taking part in all runs (part of training). Getting ready myself for upcoming runs ~

It started this way

15th March 2009, Larian Amal Seri Sinar (charity run) 10km was my first run, I have just started running this year. I'm not aiming for anything but charity and for sure to complete the 10km run (my timing 1 hour 25 minutes). I never knew about this run until my friend Vin told me about it and help me to register. It started this way, and this is how I get close to running. After that 10km run I realize that I should spend my free time on running and training. So next I have registered for Orange run 11km (my 2nd run) . Slowly, I'm addicted to run I registered for Confucian Charity run 4.3km, Jogathon Warisan 7km , New Balance run 15km, Standard Chartered KL Marathon 21km, Siemens 10km, Adidas King Of The Road 22km and Penang Bridge International Marathon 42km the list continue.........Now, I'm spending my freetime on running and training with friends and a good coach (Coach Tony) thanks to him I learned something from him, something which is new to me since i'm just a beginner in running sport.
